Building Community Engagement, Innovation and Action

Take a Lunch Break with Prof Kate Auty

Hosted by:
Nina Christesen

May 28, 2020 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Free

How our society responds to uncertainty, complexity and change hinges upon building blocks of the response of people in our local communities.

This is critically evident as we now move to new ways of living and working in our neighbourhoods and workplaces.

In this event Kate Auty will draw lessons from her practical experiences supporting innovation and change in business and agriculture in regional Victoria and from her perspective as an expert independent commissioner.

Kate will address how to communicate hard-scientific messages, to various audiences, with novelty and imagination; and deal with controversial issues at a community level for support and innovation.

Kate Auty is Professorial Fellow with University of Melbourne.
