Interfaith, Ramadan, extremism, religious freedom, tolerance, hijab fashion, divorce, respect and respect within the law and of the law. The new Grand Mufti in March – Sheikh Abdel Aziem Al-Afifi  recently said  "I'll be very happy if I can do something to save our kids, and to keep them away from any bad idea, and to teach them how to be good Australians and to represent their country, and to serve our nation.”

 

How can there be so much diversity amongst the Muslim community in Australia? Join us for this intriguing conversation!Nail is the Executive Director of the Islamic Council of Victoria (ICV), the peak Muslim umbrella body in Victoria representing 200,000 Muslims. He previously worked in the banking, retail business, market research and film & TV industries. Nail has been an active community representative for over 20 years, facilitating community engagement and civic participation. He is an Australian Muslim of Turkish heritage.
