Thirty Months of the Pandemic – Where to Now?
Members' Lunch with Prof Brett Sutton
Hosted by:
Dr Stephen Duckett
August 26, 2022 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
$80.00 – $95.00Professor Brett Sutton is the well known Chief Health Officer of Victoria, a role which he has effectively held since 2018.
A graduate of Melbourne High School and University of Melbourne, his higher degree in public health was obtained through James Cook University.
Professor Sutton, before entering the public health sector, was involved in a number of humanitarian health initiatives in countries including East Timor and Afghanistan.
But it is since the outbreak of the Covid pandemic, that Professor Sutton has become a household name in Victoria. He has been the advisor upon whom the government has relied, whether in the making of unpopular decisions, or providing guidance as the State emerged from lockdowns.
Whilst life has to some extent returned to normal, the pandemic is, by no means, ended. We eagerly await Professor Sutton’s views as to what the future holds for us.
