Marvellous, Multicultural Melbourne: Paying homage to our unique brand of cohesive diversity

Hosted by:

July 27, 2016 @ 4:00 am - 7:30 am

“I’m eternally thankful for the decision my parents made 45-odd years ago to pack up their young family and migrate to Melbourne. They chose to migrate to exactly the right place – and at exactly the right time.” – Ahmed Fahour,
Managing Director and Group CEO, Australia Post

Ahmed Fahour is one of Australia’s most admired and innovative corporate leaders.

He was appointed Managing Director and CEO of Australia Post in February 2010, following his time as the Chief Executive Officer at the National Australia Bank (Australia). Prior to that, Ahmed was Citigroup’s Head of Corporate Development and CEO of Citigroup Alternative Investments, in New York.

At Australia Post, he has been leading a major transformation program that is focussed on seizing the corporation’s opportunities in trusted digital services and parcels and eCommerce.

Ahmed is an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law at La Trobe University – and he is also Chairman of Pro-Pac Packaging Ltd and LaunchVic. He is the patron of the Islamic Museum of Australia and has spoken extensively on the importance and value of cultural diversity.

We would like to invite you to an intimate dinner with Ahmed Fahour speaking candidly on paying homage to our cohesive diversity will be one to remember.
