Global challenges in refugee protection
Intimate Lunch with Thomas Albrecht
Hosted by:
March 19, 2015 @ 11:30 pm - March 20, 2015 @ 1:00 am
One in seven people in the world are on the move, and the number of displaced persons is the highest in memory and growing.
Australia is only dealing with a relatively small proportion of the world’s refugees, but the way in which we deal with them is highly controversial. Our Prime Minister has attacked the UN for criticising how we treat refugees.
Join us for a lunch discussion on this hottest of topics, led by the Regional Representative of the UNHCR, Thomas Albrecht.
The MF Intimate Lunches are for members only and are designed for a maximum of 14 people in the room. Book fast to be one of them.
