It’s been a wonderful year as we have tackled many important issues and engaged with many outstanding people including our own members at our monthly drinks meetings.
The Government took one of our members away from us by appointing her as Governor!
In 2014 we were thrilled to have offered you 50 events catering for 1,034 members and guests.
In 2015 we have offered 68 events catering for 1,417 people! Our Committes have worked very hard to sleuth hot topics and great conversation leaders for you, and of-course, I would like to thank you all for attending.
In addition tho these events, we have held 27 internal meetings including the Strategic Planning, SAC and our regular Board, Communications, Program, Finance and Membership Committees. I would like to take this opportunity to thank every single person who makes an outstanding contribution to directng the MF for our members to enjoy.
Our Program Committee have been working very hard to bring you a diverse range of speakers and topics for the year ahead. A sample of these are in the news below, but there are many more that require a little 'tweeking' before we can let you know. These events can be written in your diary, but they are not ready to be booked as yet…
Finally, I would like to thank every one of you for your support to the MF, and your passion for Melbourne – both are essential ingredients for great thought provoking conversations.
Have a wonderful Festive Season,
John Ridley
