Melbourne Forum is delighted to host well-known Melbourne businessman Ron Finkel to hear about his commendable fundraising efforts for Project Rozana that enables critically ill Palestinian children to be treated at Hadassah hospital in Jerusalem. The Hadassah program affords the opportunity for Palestinian children stricken with cancer to receive first-class treatment at Hadassah. Separate from politics, this is a project that provides grass-roots help across boundaries and
serves as an example of what can be achieved with goodwill and resources to match. Among many benefits of this program, apart from saving lives, is that it facilitates outreach between Israeli and Palestinian health-workers. Ron Will talk about this excellent program and his other charitable endeavors.
