Are you concerned about the Optus data breach?

Are you confused about data protection laws?

Are the different concepts of data security and data privacy confusing?

Do you feel a lack of access and control of your data?

If the answer to any one of these questions is YES you will benefit enormously from listening to Lizzie O’Shea lead this conversation at the Melbourne Forum over lunch on Tuesday 18 October, 2022.

Lizzie O’Shea is Founder and Chair of Digital Rights Watch. She is a lawyer and writer with attention to technology and human rights. Digital Rights Watch has a mission to, ‘…ensure that Australians are equipped, empowered and enabled to uphold their digital rights… digital rights are human rights which see their expression online.’ In 2019, Lizzie received the Human Rights Hero Award for her work campaigning against Australia’s encryption laws.
