Martin Allen Rearranges William Johnston‰۪s Collection
Hosted by:
June 13, 2015 @ 9:50 pm - 11:45 pm
William Johnston and his collection series offers an opportunity to see Johnston's collection through another person's eyes and aesthetic. For this house-museum tour we have invited Martin Allen, of Martin Allen Antiques, to give his response to our most spectacular and intriguing collection. Martin Allen has worked in the antiques trade and been a collector for more than three decades, specialising in 17th and 18th century English furniture. For his rearrangement of Fairhall house-museum, Allen proposes to put more objects from The Johnston Collection on display than ever seen before.
