We are delighted to announce that Janet Holmes à Court,AC, will be joining us as our guest speaker for our final event for 2015 – our Melbourne Forum Festive Celebration on Monday 23 November 2015. Following our theme of Women in Leadership, Janet will offer 2 or 3 reflections on the key issues of 2015.
Janet is an outstanding Australian leader, fearless in her approach to many topical issues and is one of Australia's best known businesswomen. She is the owner of the Janet Holmes à Court Collection and is also Chairman of the West Australian Symphony Orchestra and the Australian Children’s Television Foundation.
Janet is a Board Member of the Rio Tinto Community Investment Fund, the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM), the Australian Major Performing Arts Group (AMPAG), the Chamber of Arts and Culture WA, the Australian Urban Design Research Centre (AUDRC) and the International Advisory Board of the NY Philharmonic Orchestra, and Commissioner for Australia for the Venice Architecture Biennale.
Janet Holmes à Court has won numerous awards recognising her contribution to the community and to business, including a Companion of the Order of Australia.
