Melbourne has seen an unprecedented number of development approvals for high-rise residential developments in the inner-city, which is quickly becoming built, as residents, planners and developers attempt to make sense of this very complex issue. The Shadow Minister for Local Government, Planning and Equality the Hon David Davis will provide MF members with a chance to hear his views and discuss the issues.
David was elected MLC for East Yarra Province in March 1996. He was then re elected to the Victorian Legislative Council on four occasions, where he remains a member. From 2010 until 2014, he was the leader of the Victorian State Government in the Legislative Council. During that time and for the duration of the previous State Government, he was also the Minister for Health and Ageing.
