Multi Walkley award winning journalist challenging a new year

Hosted by:

February 7, 2018 @ 11:30 pm - February 8, 2018 @ 1:00 am

Melbourne Forum is very pleased to host star Fairfax columnist and business reporter Adele Ferguson in the first event for the year. Adele will talk about challenges for business in the year ahead, including a Royal Commission into the banks, and issues surrounding franchise operations.

In her outstanding investigative reporting, she played a significant role in pushing the government towards a banking Royal Commission. Adele has won no fewer than 13 Walkleys, including the coveted Gold Walkley in 2015. Space does not permit a description of her many other awards, but these include the Graham Perkin award in 2015. Adele is also the author of Gina Rinehart: The Untold Story of the Richest Woman in the World. Ms Rinehart sought to stop publication.

Adele will provide fascinating insights into her work at the cutting edge of business journalism. Fairfax colleague Tony Walker will mediate a discussion involving Forum members.
