Wow! It’s finally here. The last major event for the year is where we come together for an evening of celebration, the company of fellow members and some great fun as Sammy J drops in for the early part of the evening – at six – to meet with us.

Sammy J is one of Australia’s most surprising talents. Political, musical, a master wordsmith, and hilariously funny, his work has been recognised with multiple awards and award nominations.

A proud nerd, Sammy J ditched his law degree to pursue a career in comedy.

He is best known for his man/puppet comedy show Sammy J & Randy, which he has toured around Australia and internationally and which was also the basis of his ABC TV sitcom Sammy J & Randy in Ricketts Lane. He’s played in Edinburgh, Montreal and London, had a sitcom on Netflix. His debut novel, The Long Class Goodnight is available from Hardie Grant Publishing and his most recent album, Symphony in J Minor, was released through ABC Music/Universal.

As many would know, Sammy J hosts the breakfast show on ABC Radio Melbourne.

We look forward to raising our glasses with you, hearing some great stories about the year that has past and sharing the anticipation of the holiday season to come.
