- Members' Lunch with Talal Yassine OAM (sorry, waiting list only)

Hosted by:

November 10, 2015 @ 11:30 pm - November 11, 2015 @ 1:00 am

Melbourne Forum is privileged to have one of Australia’s most prominent Muslim leaders to discuss challenges facing his community and the country more generally.

Talal Yassine, OAM, is chairman of the Council of Australian-Arab Relations, among other important community roles. He also sits on the boards of Australia Post and the Whitlam Institute. He is a successful businessman and an articulate spokesman for Muslim Australia.

A lawyer by profession, he is a professor at the Crawford School of Public Policy at the Australian National University. He came to Australia in 1977 at the age of four from war-torn Lebanon.

Tony Walker, International Editor for The Australian Financial Review and Melbourne Forum Events Committee member, will introduce Talal.
