Melbourne Forum creates an inclusive and stimulating environment for members to engage with pressing issues of the day. Members enjoy hearing eminent leaders speak in intimate environments that encourage robust discussion and conversation with both them and other members.
Melbourne Forum members have the chance to engage in intellectually enlightened conversation and discussion with the idea to hear a range of perspectives and enjoy frank and respectful conversation about issues that matter.
We offer an opportunity for members to inform themselves, develop a deeper understanding of issues that impact not only Melbourne, but Australia and the world at large, and to find meaningful ways to contribute or potentially ‘make a difference’.
Looking to explore the issues of the day around a range of topics allows members to learn about diverse issues that lie outside their general sphere or areas of knowledge, making it a refreshing ‘time out’ from normal activities.
The Melbourne Forum proudly hosts events at a number of private dining rooms supporting Melbourne’s hospitality industry. We are proud to support local businesses and showcase the talent and quality in the Melbourne hospitality scene.
Our highly professional, interactive digital program and a range of member-only forums adds to the ways members can engage. Our event program runs from late January through early December.
We curate an exciting range of face-to-face and virtual events featuring eminent experts both international and national from different fields.
Membership is limited to 250 members, and small events (often only 12 to 24 attendees) make it easy to meet and get to know fellow members.
With varied formats (in-person or virtual; conversation leader or members engaging with each other; learning from experts or exchanging ideas in member-only forums) there are multiple ways to participate.
The Melbourne Forum is a membership-based organisation. An annual membership fee of $540 plus GST is payable in the month you join and renews on your anniversary. Currently, there is no joining fee.
Members may choose the convenience of a multi-year subscription at a discount of the annual subscription.
Enquire about rates for those who wish to join but can only participate online due to living outside of Melbourne or due to a disability are unable to physically attend events.
Leadership Victoria alumni should contact us to discuss the benefits of our joint alliance.
