Covid, and its effect upon employment. SPC on safe ground?

MF Digital with Andrew Stewart

Hosted by:
Prof Ian Dunn AM

August 19, 2021 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Free – $20.00

Andrew Stewart is regarded as one of the most knowledgeable experts in employment law in Australia.

After serving as Dean of Law at Flinders University, he took up his present position as the John Bray Professor of Law at Adelaide University. He has published widely and has recently completed reports for the Fair Work Ombudsman, Fair Work Commission, and the Department of Employment. He is a frequent, very erudite, commentator on the ABC.

The effect of Covid upon employment in Australia will be discussed as will the vexed question as to whether employers may require employees to be vaccinated. SPC has been the first major company to announce that it will require its employees to be vaccinated, this has provoked a welter of controversy as to the law, civil freedoms etc

Andrew will join us from Adelaide via Zoom. Our MF Digital events are free for members as part of their membership. Guests are welcome with their tickets being just $20.00.
