Melbourne – Every bit different.

The Islamic Museum of Australia, highlights the arts, culture and contributions of Muslims in Australia and abroad through the display of art and historical objects.

We have arranged a private members and guests tour, at the Islamic Museum, to explore the five permanent galleries, which cover the themes of Islamic Faith, Islamic contributions to civilisations, Islamic art, Islamic architecture, and Australian Muslim history.

You will also have the chance to see a very special exhibition, “Dunya: A Journey through the fragile footprint of civilisations, by artist Phillip George.

Following the tour, members will be invited (at own cost) to share a Middle Eastern inspired meal together at the museum café.

The Museum is located just 10 kilometres outside Melbourne’s city centre in the inner northern suburb of Thornbury, in a stunning contemporary building.
